building unity through worship to make jesus known.

The Worship Cooperative Songwriting Retreat is coming to Greenville, SC, September 24–26. Join worship leaders and songwriters from across regions for three days of worship, teaching, and collaborative songwriting.

This retreat is designed to refresh and equip you to write songs for your local church, while building meaningful connections with others who share the same heart for the Church.

Whether you’re seasoned or just starting out, you’ll find a space that encourages your voice and strengthens your calling.

Who We Are

Worship Cooperative started in the Upstate of South Carolina on September 2015 with a simple thought:

What would it look like for churches to work together instead of working on their own?

What would it look like for churches to be in cooperation instead of competition?

Since then, Worship Cooperative has worked towards answering those questions.

Ways to Get Involved

  • Local Monthly CoWrites

Worship pastors and church songwriters from across the Upstate of South Carolina gather to write songs together—but it’s about more than music. These co-writes create space for relationship, encouragement, and prayer, breaking down barriers that often divide churches. Each gathering reflects Jesus’ prayer for unity and sends leaders home with new songs, deeper friendships, and a greater sense of shared mission. This is our way of strengthening church unity locally.

  • Songwriting Retreats

Our songwriting retreats are weekend gatherings that bring together worship leaders and Christian songwriters from around the world. More than co-writing sessions, retreats offer worship, fellowship, teaching, resources, and incredible meals, all in an atmosphere of creativity and community. Whether in Greenville, Puerto Rico, or beyond, these retreats help worshippers grow in their gifts, build lifelong connections, and write songs that serve the global Church.
